python-dumbnet software package provides A dumb, portable networking library -- python bindings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-dumbnet
python-dumbnet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-dumbnet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-dumbnet *
You will get with python-dumbnet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
